Explore Pembrokeshire

South Cockett is perfectly situated to explore all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. There are beaches to discover where you can just relax or be adventurous, coasteering, surfing, paddle boarding and kayaking. There are lifeguards on patrol at some of the beaches so check these out if planning a family day at the beach. The coast path stretches for 186 miles around Pembrokeshire and has some of the most spectacular scenery with an abundance of wildlife. The dramatic scenery of the Preselli Hills, the home of the famous Stonehenge bluestone and Pentre Ifan an ancient burial chamber.

Why not spend some time discovering the beautiful city of St David’s, with its cathedral almost hidden from view, and just a short distance away the lifeboat station at St Justinian’s where you can also take a boat trip to Ramsey Island.

On the other side of the Cleddau is the town of Narberth with its independent shops to browse in. Tenby is a vibrant seaside town with plenty to occupy all the family with a picturesque harbour and a choice of beaches.

Step back into history with a visit to the castles of Pembrokeshire, there are plenty to choose from and it’s worth checking their events calendar for activities throughout the summer.

Pembrokeshire is home to a myriad of craft makers and artists. There are woollen mills where you can watch traditional weaving methods and buy the finished products, potteries, and galleries. Take home a souvenir to evoke memories of time spent in this glorious county.
